We offer a range of courses and lessons, from Have-a-Go Trick Riding sessions, where you and a friend (or two!) can come along and see what it's like to be a trick rider - hanging upside down, vaulting, and rearing on our fully trained horses, to learning skill-at-arms, sword fighting and jousting.

 

We can also offer professional stunt register training, from complete novice right up to the exam.

All our lessons are carried out in the safety of our menage, and trick riding lessons are on the lunge. 

 

 

Stunt Riding Experience Day (2 -6 people)

 

Four hours of riding to include falling, rearing, and stunts, plus an introduction to show riding and a look at some of the tack we use - £120 per person

 

 

Joust Experience Day (2 - 6 people)

 

Four hours of riding to include riding at the rings and cabbages, lance work, sword fighting on horseback and much more!

£120 per person

 

Trick Riding lesson - Individual

Half an hour - £40

One hour - £60

 

 

Group Trick Riding Lessons (2 - 6 people) 

One hour - £45 per person

Two hours - £70 per person

 

 

 

Weight Limit: 12st for trick riding 13st for jousting

 

 

 

Gift Vouchers

 

Do you know someone who has always fancied being a knight in shining armour? A mighty swordsman? Or perhaps a skilled acrobat on horseback, thrilling the crowds with their feats of daring?

Gift vouchers come with a greetings card and envelope and can be sent to the address of your choice in a plain envelope to keep it discrete. Vouchers are valid for one year.

 

 

 

Birthday Parties

 

We can cater for parties for up to six people for any of our experience days. Birthday parties include the experience, plus a certificate and cake!

 

Trick Riding Party - 2 hours riding plus cake and refreshments (no riding experience necessary. Over 7 years old only, sorry)

Joust Party - 4 hours riding, knight school and sword play plus cake and refreshments (MUST be able to walk trot and canter competently. Adults only at the moment, sorry)

Stunt Register Training

 

We can now also offer professional stunt riding courses aimed at people taking their stunt register test. From novice riders to experienced, we can cater for any ability at our BHS approved riding centre. Please call for details.
